Im using slackware 12 and the touchpad works fine by default except for the scroll feature. Ive tried installing the synpatics/alps touchpad drivers and configuring my xorg.conf and following http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...operly-590044/
The touchpads tap to click feature will not work and the scroll will not work even after all that. Anyone have any suggestions?
It doesn't sound like you have xorg.conf setup properly. I'm not at my laptop, otherwise I'd post my xorg.conf. Perhaps you could post the relevant sections of yours (InputDevice and ServerLayout).
