Get late(r,st) versions into 13.37?

Sorry for refreshing.

Could you tell me how to do the same for KDE 4.xx with Slacjkware 13.37? I'd like to use 4.0 and newest - 7.0.1. I'd like also to have "launcher - icon" in KDE: KDE>internet>firefox. It is possible to do this?

Thank you for Your time.

Your post is not very clear.
If you want to get KDE 4.7.2, you can check Alien Bob's ktown
Please note that the package is meant to be used with Slackware -current. It MIGHT work with 13.37.

I guess you want to run both Firefox 4 and 7.01 and the latest KDE on Slackware 13.37.

For Firefox, that's easy: you just download the package from the mozilla site and then unpack it to the folder of your choice. After that you will have to make a few symlinks and customize a .desktop file - maybe someone else can help you with the detailed instructions.

After that you will be able to use both Firefox 4 and 7.xx simultaneously.

For KDE, the latest version that Eric has in his Ktown repository for 13.37 is 4.6.5. KDE 4.7.2 might work, but there are no guarantees about that, just as sycamorex said before me.
