generating packages.txt etc in slapt-get repo

hi!
I'd like to set up a repository to work with slapt-get/swaret but I have no idea how to generate files like:
Quote:
CHECKSUMS.md5
CHECKSUMS.md5.gz
ChangeLog.txt
FILELIST.TXT
FILELIST.TXT.gz
MANIFEST.bz2
PACKAGES.TXT
PACKAGES.TXT.gz
to make it work with slapt/swaret.

What will generate these files?

A simple script to generate the meta data can be found in the slapt-get FAQ. It isn't great, but it gets the job done.

This script from Alien Bob may help as well.
