General Questions
I just installed Slackware 11 on my laptop using the huge26.s kernel. It all installed well and after getting the wireless to work things are great. Well my question is, when I connect to wireless networks I use the iwconfig command. Well only root can execute that command and I want all users to be able to. Also when the laptop starts it tries to obtain an ip address for the integrated nic. How can I stop that because it takes forever.

You can try using sudo or SUID to allow all users to run iwconfig. You'll need to do more research on the details.
