I've tried to make/install this game three times and each time gotten this message, what could be going wrong? I'm running the current version of Slackware with SDL-perl from here:
I couldn't get frozen bubble to work on slack 11 either until I found this page and followed its instructions.
I had to install ALL of the packages found there to get frozen bubble
to work properly.
I installed all the packages there, including smpeg, and now the program loads up past that.
But now I get a different error:
Quote:
[SDL Init] ALSA lib confmisc.c:670snd_func_card_driver) cannot find card '0'
ALSA lib conf.c:3479_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_card_driver returned error: No such device
ALSA lib confmisc.c:391snd_func_concat) error evaluating strings
ALSA lib conf.c:3479_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_concat returned error: No such device
ALSA lib confmisc.c:1070snd_func_refer) error evaluating name
ALSA lib conf.c:3479_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_refer returned error: No such device
ALSA lib conf.c:3947snd_config_expand) Evaluate error: No such device
ALSA lib pcm.c:2146snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default
[Graphics.Segmentation fault
and if I run it with aoss here:
Quote:
[SDL Init] [Graphics.Segmentation fault
I'll try recompiling snd-via82xx (my sound card module) into the kernel and see what happens.
