Fresh install, lib packages missing for KDE

I got everything installed. When I log in I get a command prompt, I try to start X I get a box saying that there were errors trying to start ksetupconfig, and it takes me back to the command prompt. I typed in ksetupconfig and it said it couldn't find "libart_lgpl_2.so.2" so I downloaded it on my other PC and installed it on my slackware PC. Then it asked for libidn.so.11, so I installed that, then it asked for "libqt-mt.so.3" which I couldn't find on the website. Did I miss something in the installation or do I need to keep doing this until I get everything?

Did you run #xorgconfig or #xorgsetup to set-up your monitor, mouse, and keyboard?
A full install will give all the required libraries.

yes, I ran xorgconfig, still nothing, should I try reinstalling? Both CD's passed md5sum checks, I got them off the torrents on the slackware website.

Did you do a full install? If yes, maybe you've mis-configured xorg.conf. You could try to re-run xorgconfig or if you feel up to it you could fire up an editor and take a look at xorg.conf

for example:

# nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf

You could also try #xorgsetup, that can automatically set-up your monitor settings for you.

If all fails maybe it is a bad burn on the CD. Perhaps turn down your burn rate.

I'm not in slackware at the moment, but if it helps libqt-mt.so.3 is part of a CentOS package called qt, so perhaps if you find the slackware version you'll be OK.

I reinstalled it and everything worked ok, I must have accidentally told it to not install something, thanks for the help.
