Fonts installation problem - Slackware 9.0
 

Hi ,
I've been trying to install ttf fonts (from windows 2000) using the KDE font
installer and it seems that
they've been installed successfully but the problem is that they are not
visible in any font's options.
Could you explain how it is solved

try editing /etc/X11/XF86Config, and be sure the following are
uncommented:

Load "freetype"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF/"

then, restart x.
