Fluxbox tabs

As i was checking out some desktops, someone mentioned this tabs feature in fluxbox. I went to the suggested link, here's what it said:

--------------------------------
Basics of Tabbing
The first thing to remember is that ALL tab manipulation actions use the third mouse button. So, to start, pick two windows that you'd like to group together. Third-click on the tab for the first one, and drag it onto the tab for the second. Congratulations, they're stuck together! You can use the tabs now to switch between the two windows.

To remove a tab, it's the same thing. Third-Click on a grouped tab and drag it away
---------------------------------

It keeps mentioning to use the third mouse button, and i only have two mouse buttons, not even a scroller, what exactly are they referring to?

Thanks in advance.

From what I remember from some of my classes is that Unix mice have 3 buttons. I think to achive "Button 3" you press both the right and the left buttons at once.

Just a thought, something to try.

well, i tried a few times, no success.
i solely left click on the tab and nothing happens, and only right clicking brings up the menu.

There's got to be an easier way then hitting both buttons at exactly the same time. But thanks for the suggestion.

Anybody else??

you need to press both at once. if this does not help, look at your /etc/X11/XF86Config file in the pointer section for a line that says
Code:

Option "Emulate3Buttons" "on"
if it's not there add it.
