Fluxbox install problems

While doing a make install of fluxbox, all it did was say "enterning directory..." "nothing to do..." "leaving...."

What the heck? The make and configure went fine, although the make had a few things which I thought were weird, but didn't think they were a problem (translation files weren't being made I think)

Anybody know what to do?

As long as it didn't return with any errors, just because it "had nothing to do" in any given directory doesn't mean anything. Try starting flux now, if it starts, then there is nothing to worry about.

But when I do xinitrc it gives an error "BaseDisplay::BaseDisplay starting X server failed"

Can someone help me out with this?
