Flashgot

I've just installed Flashgot extension on firefox 1.0PR (on slack), but i can't quite seem to get it to work. I'm guessing it needs a download manager installed, but all the ones i keep finding are windows based...

Are there any linux compatible download managers that i can use with Flashgot?

Thanks

From Flashgot's homepage ( http://software.informaction.com/cat...oduct=flashgot ) : "FlashGet is a Windows native program, so this extensions is obviously not cross-platform. However, I'm planning to write a good download manager in Java, and of course it will work with the Mozilla family."

As I was assuming, this extention was written with FlashGet in mind, it supports others as well, but all are window based.

I've used Downloader 4 X several times, it works really good, it's very nice, and yes, it splits the files like DAP and all other "acceleratos".
