32-bit or 64-bit Slackware? It is flash plugin 99%, nothing new...

Which DE do you use? If it is KDE this could be helpful:

Code:
export QT_NO_GLIB=1
For start execute it in console and if you see any improvement, put it into your .bashrc.

Create it then. Open the Konsole and type this (as regular user, not root of course).

Code:
echo "export QT_NO_GLIB=1" >> ~/.bashrc

You might try starting up Fluxbox (or other minimalist WM) instead of KDE and see if it runs any smoother. The Linux version of Flash is pretty abysmal, but the low bitrate streams should play smoothly. But I've never been able to play HD Flash videos.

Fluxbox + latestest flashplayer prerelease 10.1 cleaned up flash video issues quite a bit for me on an older machine, as well as solved a few issues with HD video on a newer machine. To test if it's your internet connection try pausing the video for a bit when it starts to play to allow the buffer to grow.
