Flash player problem... Sometimes

I installed flash player 10.3 64bit and it works fine on youtube and for flash games and videos but it doesn't work when I'm trying to look for tickets on stubhub for example: http://www.stubhub.com/philadelphia-...-2011-1007979/ Normally I would be able to select tickets but I can't and I get this error (On stubhub): To use all the features of this page, you'll need to install Adobe flash Player. It's free!
I installed flash player by running tar -zxvf, then I copied the libflashplayer.so file to /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins
Did I do this wrong?

I've tried the site, it doesn't work for me as well. Yet I've booted Gentoo.

Your installation was correct, in Slackware the libflashplayer.so resides in the /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins directory.

I tried installing the 10.2 64bit flash player using installpkg too, but I got the same result.

How do I go about installing my ATi drivers?

I get no errors when trying the link you provided; I'm on Slackware 13.1 32-bit using Google Chrome.

With regards to ATI drivers, Slackware comes with all the drivers you require, I'd wager. If a CD came with your hardware, you won't be able to use it (what with all the Windows software on it), but you won't need it.

In this thread: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...monday-856159/ in post #6 you'll find a solution which is working now for me (with kernel 2.6.37)

With Slackware64-13.1, you may install the driver unpatched, this will work very well, you may also use the commands as in post #6

I know markush has an ATi Radeon HD graphics card, as do I, that's why I brought it up in this thread.

did you find a solution? I mean with your ATI-card.... I'm just curious.

If not, I'd suggest to do what onebuck suggested an open a new thread for this issue.

But if you found a solution, please describe how it worked for you and if you are satisfied with the driver.

Settle down, take a deep breath. I am trying to help you here with how things work on the forum. Apparently you are not fully aware of forum communications. This is not a board or IRC but a forum. As to the PM, probably a good idea if you want to chat off topic.

Look at New libreoffice and flashplayer packages to get an idea as to what's going on with flash;

I've installed mine from SlackBuilds and it's been working without any problems so far. If you don't know about slackbuilds.org I'd recommend you to have a look at it. And please do read 'How To Ask Questions The Smart Way' as advised by onebuck. You might learn a thing or two. Best of luck, Haroldo
