fixing lilo


i just finished installing slack 10 onto my notebook. everything works fine but lilo didn`t install. to boot now i have to use "bareacpi.i root=/dev/hda1 noinitrd ro".

what should i do to fix lilo? thanks.

You should be able to fix that with pkgtool

Code:
#pkgtool
select the option to run installation script, then select "liloconfig"

I've never had to do this, but it appear's this would fix your problem.

...or you can just run ( as root ) " #liloconfig ".
-choose "expert " mode
-add linux ( evt win )
-install in the mbr

and you're done.

well i ran liloconfig in the console and tried reinstalling it to the MBR and it worked. thanks a lot for the help.
