Question fishingboat??

Noticed a file named .fishingboat on my root directory. The only thing I've been able to find out about it is that netwatch creates it. Anybody out there know what purpose this file serves? Is it a potential security risk? Any info welcomed
Thanks.

Did a search on the whole site, nothing came up. I found a reference to it on a Debian security list but the post wasn't very informative. Google linux wasn't much help either.

There was a whole thread on the debian list about it. That was pretty informative if you read all of it.

Talking

Thanks ringwraith. That clears it up. I agree with the poster who
mentioned "stupid behavior." Given all the viruses, worms tec. on the web today, the last thing I need to see in my root directory is some unknown file. If this is someone's idea of a joke, they should be tarred, feathered and be forced to us a Windows machine with the CTRL, ALT and DEL keys removed.
