Firefox %u switch

Hi everyone,

When editing KDE menu items I've noticed several items, one of them being firefox, that have the %u switch in the command. Can someone explain what this is for?

Regards

They are switches which are substituted with objects when launching the application. For example in the firefox %u command, the %u stats for a single URL. Look for more details in the KDE user guide or in the GNOME counterpart.
