Firefox filing to start on slackware-current
Hello,
I have updated my slackeare machine to slackware-current through swaret. Now I cannot run firefox. I downloaded firefox and re-installed it but it doesn't help. Whenever I try to run firefox I get an error ./firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libcairo.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory. I have looked for "libcairo.so.2" but it doesn't exist anywhere on my system. I have also looked for this library on another system on which firefox works and not as up to date but it hasn't got that library either. |
do the following (as root):
Code:
wget ftp://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/os/Linux/distr/slackware/slackware-current/slackware/l/cairo-1.0.2-i486-1.tgz; |
