Unhappy ffmpeg for slackware64

Hi guys,

Looking for a good desktop recorder and converter for Slackware. recordmydesktop with the qt-frontend is not really cutting the mustard for me.

Tried downloading the slackbuild for ffmpeg but it failed...
Quote:
root: ./ffmpeg.SlackBuild
...
ffmpeg-0.6.1/tools/clean-diff
ffmpeg-0.6.1/tools/cws2fws.c
ffmpeg-0.6.1/tools/graph2dot.c
ffmpeg-0.6.1/tools/patcheck
ffmpeg-0.6.1/tools/pktdumper.c
ffmpeg-0.6.1/tools/probetest.c
ffmpeg-0.6.1/tools/qt-faststart.c
ffmpeg-0.6.1/tools/trasher.c
ffmpeg-0.6.1/tools/unwrap-diff
ffmpeg-0.6.1/version.sh
ERROR: libmp3lame not found

If you think configure made a mistake, make sure you are using the latest
version from SVN. If the latest version fails, report the problem to the
ffmpeg-user@mplayerhq.hu mailing list or IRC #ffmpeg on irc.freenode.net.
Include the log file "config.err" produced by configure as this will help
solving the problem
This maybe due to the fact I am running 64 bit.

Any ideas or advice.

LAME=yes|no (default: yes), requires lame
ERROR: libmp3lame not found
That's a pretty good error message

Does not really solve problem with ffmpeg though. Let me rephrase the question, looking for ffmpeg 64 bit for Slackware.

Sorry. Must get my glasses changed, or a brain transplant!
My mistake. I linked to VLC instead of ffmpeg:
http://slackware.org.uk/people/alien...g/pkg64/13.37/
or:
http://connie.slackware.com/~alien/s...g/pkg64/13.37/
