ffmpeg and vlc: "Illegal Instruction"

Hi,

One of my users uses my ffmpeg and vlc packages on very old hardware (from 2003). Neither ffmpeg nor vlc don't work (but mplayer does), and the error message when starting these from the command line is "illegal instruction".

Now I wonder if I can rebuild these so they will work on older hardware. Here's the source and SlackBuild I'm using:
And here's the user's processor:

Code:

Any suggestions?
