See FAQ for more Information!
bash-2.05b#
^^^ wtf, i have slackware 9.0 and it tell's me that im using 8.1 ?
next problem is that every time i boot, my keyboard layout goes to US, but i want to use Finland/Estonian, and i always have to manuali change it, is there a way to make estonia keyboard layout default ?
download glibc package and installpkg (or upgradepkg if it says already installed) manually.
I don't know why swaret thinks your system is not 8.1 or current, please check the swaret script (where it gives that error message) to find out what can cause it.
I'm having a weird problem with X : from time to time, it hangs (the gui doesn't work anymore, but I can still move the cursor), and I can't stop X even with ctrl+alt+backspace, so I must reset. I have no idea what could cause this. Please write me any suggestions you might consider usefull.

Rep:
it looks to me like you installed a wrong version of of X. (one that doesn't
match up with your libraries). get the version off your cd's instead of
using a package manager, or compile a new version yourself, instead of
messing with glibc.
yeah, got the problem solved, but few days later once againt got the same problem and had to download glibc again and install it, it actually really anoys me..
