few desktop env. at same time?


is it possible to use kde and some other desktop enviroment at same time and switch with ctrl+alt+fx(for example)? if yes: how? can u give me some links? i`m not lazy i`m just not very good at google. thanks

I have a solution but a little hacky :

start a normal session, say in KDE (your /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc point to xinitrc.kde)

then go to a linux console (press ctr-alt-F1 for example)
As root do :
rm /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc
ln -s /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.fluxbox /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc

Then login a fluxbox session as the user like you want by just :
startx -- :1

After that :
to go to kde session, press ctr-alt-F7
to go to fluxbox session, press ctr-alt-F8
