fel vid bootning av slackware 9.0


När jag bootar min maskin efter en ren installation av slackware 9.0 så står det GRUB GRUB GRUB read error.

Vid installationen valde jag vilka alternativ jag ville ha med, sedan tog jag full install för att slippa verifiera. Efter det körde jag install programet för LILO som kom upp men den sa att den inte kunde hitta nån bootbar partition och när jag startade om datorn så står det GRUB GRUB...

After you installed LILO, did you run /sbin/lilo as root?

no, I didn't is it just to type in that command in the bash prompt?

Boota maskinen från din slackware-cd. Vid lilo-prompten skriver du:

mount /dev/hda3
(antar att hda3 är din root-partition)
På det sättet kommer du in i din slackware-installation så du kan editera din /etc/lilo.conf. Du har antagligen GRUB i MBR så du kan ändra lilo.conf så att den skriver in sig i MBR genom att ändra boot-raden till
Code:
boot=/dev/hda
Spara sedan lilo.conf och skriv lilo vid prompten. Ta ut cd-skivan och starta om maskinen.

nej jag är ny på det här och min root där jag installerade slackware är hda1
