Error with vim!

When I press "up", "down", "left", "right" in vim, it shows "A", "B", "D", "C"!
Who can tell me why? and how to deal with it?
Thanks!

Have you a ~/.vimrc conf file ?
If not, try :
cp /usr/share/vim/vim63/vimrc_example.vim ~/.vimrc
