Error while installing webkitgtk from SBO

Trying to install the latest SBO version of webkitgtk I get the following error.

Code:
/usr/lib/libEGL.so: could not read symbols: File in wrong format
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [libwebkitgtk-1.0.la] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/SBo/webkitgtk-2.4.9'
make: *** [all] Error 2
Some info about the the system:

Slack 14.1 64 (multi-lib installed)
NVidia card (I even tried to copy the libEGL.so that is replaced by NVidia see the following thread http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ld-4175521024/)

Any help will be appreciated.

Have you tried setting LDFLAGS?

http://www.slackbuilds.org/faq/#multilib

Also, as mentioned in that thread, this is one reason why you really should use the SlackBuilds to install the nvidia drivers.

In this case I simply rename /usr/lib before compilation and restore it after (OK it is a dirty way).

That is really not needed; just adding the LDFlags in the slackbuild as recommended in the SBo FAQ does the job in 99 of the cases.
