Error trying to run FF & Seamonkey - libxul

13.37, 32-bit

Following updating the packages in "patches" for February, I'm getting this error of I try to run Firefox or Seamonkey:

Code:
/usr/lib/seamonkey/libxul.so: undefined symbol: gdk_window_get_visual
I've tried these steps, to no avail:

Reinstalled FF, Seamonkey, Seamonkey solibs, the Feb updates and tried the FF SM packages in "current". The latter caused a different error, but did not correct the problem.

Thanks for any advice.

I also run slackware 13.37, 32 bit on my laptop. Seamonkey 2.7.2 and firefox 10.0.2 appear to work ok. What version of gtk+2 do you have on your machine? I currently run gtk+2-2.24.4-i486-1.

I'm guessing it has to do with gtk+2 because libgdk-x11-2.0-so.0 contains this as a string (although I do not know if this could be a called function from another module. And gtk+-2-2.24 contains this dll.

Beautiful. That was the ticket. Thank you so much.

I was running an older version - 2-2.20.1, accidentally. I have GNOME Slackbuild on this machine and have GSB repository in my slapt-get config. Slapt-get and I differ on the definition of the term "upgrade".

Self-induced.

Again, thanks.
