On Slack 12, I'm trying to recompile php to include postgresql support. I'm using the SlackBuild and stuff from /patches. When I try to compile it bombs with
Code:
checking for utf8_mime2text signature... new
checking for U8T_CANONICAL... no
configure: error: utf8_mime2text() has new signature, but U8T_CANONICAL is missing. This should not happen. Check config.log for additional information.
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
It appears to have something to do with imap (and if I remove imap support it does indeed compile fine). And I don't seem to have a c-client.h on my system. This is from the config.log:
Code:
configure:47451: checking for utf8_mime2text signature
configure:47469: gcc -c -I conftest.c 1>&5
gcc: no input files
configure: failed program was:
#line 47456 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"
#include <stdio.h>
#include <c-client.h>
int main() {
SIZEDTEXT *src, *dst;
utf8_mime2text(src, dst);
; return 0; }
configure:47498: checking for U8T_CANONICAL
configure:47514: gcc -c -I conftest.c 1>&5
gcc: no input files
configure: failed program was:
#line 47503 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"
#include <c-client.h>
int main() {
int i = U8T_CANONICAL;
; return 0; }
I found the c-client.h file, but I don't really know where you should but it. Maybe if you do a small edit in the make file, or you could try putting it in the folder with the sources.

Can anyone help with this?
Thanks,

Been a while that I mucked around with PHP & PostgreSQL support,
I think you'll need linux/slackware/slackware-12.0/source/n/pine
installed on the same directory level as your php source if you
don't want to give up on imap support.
