In file included from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-slackware-linux/3.3.4/include/syslim
Does anyone know what this means and what I can do to correct it? Of course, this is taking place while I'm trying to compile the 2.6.10 kernel.
Did you 1: get teh file from Kernel.org's FTP site?
2: install it from the Slackware CD?
3: found a dead cd in the street and copied it from there??
The last does not count. If you used the pkgtool to install the one from the cd or the slackware site, then it may have become corrupted and you did not decomptress the file correctly. or maybe you typed in the wrong path
/usr/src/linux-2.6.10/make menuconfig, but you also need to actually be in the directory, not at root
Be sure you are, as that is what it appears to be what has happened here.
