Error during ( kernel ) boot


I've just seen a strange set of error code during my boot sequence:

Hello,

It would be useful if you could inform about which version of slackware you are running (if current, did you upgrade to the latest updates) and which kernel you are using (generic, huge, custom-built).

Slackware64 -current with 2.6.33smp huge kernel, latest updates are installed

IIRC the system is just letting you know that you are loading a non-GPL module, here, the proprietary nvidia graphics drive and your kernel is thus, "tainted". If you can live with that, just ignore the warning message. If you are philosophically opposed to the use of non-GPL kernel modules, remove the nvidia driver and go back to the open source nv driver.

That's fine; I remember seeing the NVidia tainted line previously but this appears to be a lot more info than before ...
