Encrypted partition?

Hey all:

I'm trying to figure out how to encrypt one of my partitions, and I'm stuck.

After hours of reading and googling, it looks like I want to use the loopback device. Anyone already doing this on Slackware? It's all a little confusing....

Any help or pointers to articles/howtos/faqs would be appeciated.
