I am curious as to how to get an icon shortcut to Emacs on my Gnome desktop. I am trying to use the shell as much as possible, but sometimes I think it might be convenient to have a direct link to Emacs on top of my desktop (like you could have say a shortcut to Mozilla). I really have no idea whatsoever how to do this, so perhaps some of you can help me on my way with a few suggestions.
