Easier way to change resolution and colour?

Is there an easier way to change my resolution and colour scheme for my computer than keep changing it using xf86config which i have to keep answering all the questions just to change my resolution or even colour scheme?

What do you mean by colour scheme? Widget decoration, command line colours, RBG settings?

Use the buttons ....

Hi there, to change the resolution of your screen press Ctrl-Alt-+ to increase the resolution or minus to reduce.

However, the resolutions must be defined when you configured X.

Hope this helps
