@mats_b_tegner just a side note: the python-efl 1.24.0 source archive in your repo is broken.

Python-EFL-1.24.0 seems to build fine against EFL 1.24.3, but it uses a lot of memory during compilation on my system. How did you compile the package?

Sorry this isn't Slackware specific but I have a couple of quick questions (thanks for any replies):

1. Has theming changed much in recent versions? I created my own for e17 and e19, but it's been a while since I look at that side of things.

2. Does enlightenment file manager do rubberband selection yet on the desktop? It might seem a minor detail to be picky over, but I just found it a nuisance not having it.

Themes for E19 and E20 from https://www.pling.com/s/Enlightenment works pretty well on E24.

I don't know. Ask the developers themselves on IRC or the users mailing list:

Running enlightenment 0.24.2 and efl 1.24.3 on Slackware64 14.2 with multilib on an old computer with Pentium D 950 and 4G of memory. Love it. Do have an issue I'd like to work out. How can does one stop the screen from flipping too quickly? With dual monitors, I understand each screen is treated as separate desktop and have applied separate wall paper and shelf on each screen. Is it possible to have the IBAR pin different applications on each shelf? Lastly, What does enlightenment recommend for smb connections to Win10? Cheers, BrianA_MN

E25 is pretty nifty, and it's nice to see it come so far. (Last one I used was E16.) Is there a weather gadget for E25? I'm seeing one for E22, but nothing since.

Enlightenment 0.25.4 updated in 2022/09/15
https://www.enlightenment.org/news/2...tenment-0.25.4

Yesterday I compiled all packages with the new versions of EFL (1.26.3) and Enlightenment (0.25.4). Everything seems to work perfectly well and I noticed more stability. I used the slackENLIGHTENMENT scripts (https://github.com/ryanpcmcquen/slackENLIGHTENMENT) and everything worked perfectly fine!

Cheers!
