DVD Problems-

I have a RICHO MP5125A DVD burner on my system, which was used to install slack10.
I've also used it with k3b to backup my videos and music. Now when i put the dvd's in the drive and try to mount them i get

Quote:

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrom,
or too many mounted file systems
Please check that the disk is entered correctly.
any ideas?

what kernel you using? standard one from slack cd or compiled by yourself? you might have missed an option in the filesystems section under "CD-ROM/DVD filesystems".

Keep in mind that Slack defines your CDWR or DVDWR as scsi so:

Slack really doesn't define them that way. We have generally set them up that way to use scsi emulation because that was the only way we could get cd burning. So it depends on how you have your system set up. You might want to post your /etc/fstab and also "dmesg | grep cd" to see where they are being attached so post that also.
