dvd player and cd writer


I have a dvd player and cd writer how can get gnome to see both of them?

add it to fstab and create a mount point

hi there..

include these lines to /etc/fstab

/dev/hdx /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,user,ro 0 0
/dev/hdy /mnt/dvd iso9660 noauto,user,ro 0 0


just as note : " .. ,user" means that you can mount them as non-root user...
the option iso9660 is not the only one possible...

you need to find where are hdx and hdy in your system...
