Another option;
Install sbopkg
http://sbopkg.googlecode.com/files/s...arch-1_cng.tgz

As root run:
sbopkg
let it sync with the repo.
Then it will build kaffeine - smplayer - vlc - or whatever for you

Well everything works now! I am using xine dragon player to play my HD movies in full screen. Could not be more pleased. Thanks everybody for the help
