Dualbooting WinXP/Linux and Lilo

hi,
i have one hard disk with 60gb. i have xp on it.can i install linux , removing the xp from hard disk? i need to load oracle also.
will linux support oracle, or is there any other option for i can run linux and xp in the same hd after partioning.
could any one tell me solution to my problem.

Pinky, read JW's post on the previous page that will sum it up.What linux will you be installing? Specifics help on this forum. And last but not least I would dual boot XP and linux I wouldn't just jump right into linux if you don't have too.

Hey do what i did and take the table = /dev/hdb out. Comment it out and then try it again. When i did my dual boot with windows 2000 all i put was the other field and the label and it worked fine.
