Dual monitor setup with KDE 4.2 Slackware 13 and wallpaper not spanning both screens

Hello all,

I'm at my wits end here. I have a dual monitor setup using twin-view with the latest Nvidia driver (185.18.36) everything seems to be working OK except for one issue. I cannot span a wallpaper over both screens. I can setup each screen separately. For the Life of me I can't figure out how to span a wallpaper over both screens. I have tried all the settings in the KDE 4.2 Appearance settings menu item to no avail.

Attached is my xorg.conf file. What am I missing ? This is a completely fresh install of Slackware 13 32 bit.

Thanks for the help ?

Just a couple questions and/or suggestions:

1-- Is there any particular reason why you chose twinview rather than Xinerama?
2-- It's easier (& I believe more preferable) if you could post the file, rather than attaching it. If you were to post it though, it would make it easier to look at, if you removed all those comments in there, and just post the important parts (the uncommented stuff). They really put a lot of extra crap in the default file don't they? :)
3-- I've always been able to span wallpaper across both screens, in KDE, using Xinerama, which is why I asked about that. I'm not 100% sure if you can do that with twinview (or not). Xinerama IMO would be worth a try though.
4-- Does KDE offer you the option to span it across both? Or is it simply not an option at all? (I have spent very little time with the new KDE as yet)

Thanks,
Sasha

No particular reason that I chose twin-view over Xinerama.

It does not even give me the option to span over both screens. I know the setup is working because I can span over both screens using the login manager (Ksession manager).

I attached the file because I didn't know any better. Will try and post the relevant parts next time.

I might just try Xinerama for giggles.
Thanks
