Dual boot problem with Debian

I have installed Slackware on /dev/sda6 and lilo at MBR. I also have installed Windows and Debian ( Debian on /dev/sda7 and GRUB on first sector on /dev/sda7, I installed Debian last ). I can enter at Windows and Slack but I cannot enter in Debian ( there is no options at start menu to choose Debian ). I added
Quote:
other = /dev/sda7
label = debian
table = /dev/sda
at /etc/lilo.conf, but when I type lilo at shell I get output

Quote:
Fatal: First sector of /dev/sda7 doesn't have a valid boot signature
What is the problem, any help ?

The "other" option in lilo.conf is for "the other OS". Use "image" instead.
Take one more look at
Code:
man /etc/lilo.conf

IGNORE THIS
I've had Slack & Debian dual-booting like that, and the only thing I can see that might be causing problems are the spaces either side of the equals signs:
Code:
other = /dev/sda7
label = debian
Try:
Code:
other=/dev/sda7
label=debian
I don't think the table entry is necessary either.
EDIT:
Sorry, must have been thinking of some other file. Spaces ARE needed.
