dropline install crashed :(

Dam this. During the install of Dropline 2.6.1 on my Slackware 10 it froze up and crashed about 30% the way though installing all of the packages so now gnome is broken. So far I have only estabished that fluxbox and xfce work.

So what would be the ideal way to around to re-installing gnome? I tried to re-install dropline over the top but it now reports back errors of wrong "magic code" in a bunch of libs.

try:

Code:
telinit 3
dropline-installer --force
If that doesn't work, try removing the contents of /var/cache/dropline-installer and trying again.

If that isn't working, post the error messages.

Have you tried posting on the dropline forum? They would probably be more helpful with dropline specific problems.

Have you tried removing dropline with dropline-installer then re-installing? If you use swaret you could also try removing .*dl$ from your exclude list and installing slack gnome with swaret.
