I have submitted to Pat a patch for the polkit problem, probably the root autentication is solved now in gnome-control-center
patches/packages/polkit-0.105-i486-4_slack14.0.txz: Rebuilt.
Reverted a patch that set the members of the wheel group as the
authorized administrators. On Slackware, root is the administrator
and the wheel group is mostly unused. Thanks to Gérard Monpontet.
Ok peeps, we are now in a RC1 stage. Re-run dropline-installer and report back if any issues. Thanks to all and especially to gmgf for your help. Original announcement is here: http://www.droplinegnome.org/#147
2nankura,
