i m a newbee to linux.

i have installed DRI in rh9 (kernel 2.4.20.8),

glxinfo | grep rendering shows direct rendering : yes.

and glxgears output is.

5256 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1051.200 FPS
10767 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2153.400 FPS
10998 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2199.600 FPS
11111 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2222.200 FPS
11140 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2228.000 FPS
9895 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1979.000 FPS
7517 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1503.400 FPS
8637 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1727.400 FPS
10998 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2199.600 FPS
10908 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2181.600 FPS
.
but the problem i m facing is the gears leaves the glutwindow and repitation of gears apperas on screen.

i need to control the Frame per seconds can any one help me regarding this...
