Downgrade xorg from -current to slackware11 version ?

Hello,
I have upgraded from slack11 to -current on my laptop. Unfortunately, the new xorg version in the current don't seem to work with my screen (both i810 and intel drivers).
So I was wondering if it was possible to downgrade olny the new xorg. Since I've heard it was splitted to become modulary I think it may exist a few steps to follow.
May I just install the old one without downgrading ?
So if someone has ideas, it would be apreciate.
It's a bit hard to deal with lynx
By the way, does anyone know a way to use kmail boxes without KDE ?
Thank for help.
Tonus.

Everything?! Even xine and xmms?! <kidding>

I'm not sure which version is in -current, but you could just download the xorg packages from 11.0, logout of X and, as root, run upgradepkg on the files. Since you've already removed the current ones use upgradepkg --install-new instead. I've found that upgradepkg will also downgrade. The libX things probably wouldn't hurt anything but it's safe to remove them. If you find later you did need one or two it's easy to add them back.

I believe that installing the old packages is not the best idea. Glibc is new, compiler is new,...
Probably the best thing to do is to compile old xorg with 11.0 SlackBuilds. You'll also have to manually edit some paths...
