Dovecot Obsolete setting error

Hi there guys
when running dovecot and postfix I get a error in mail log

config: Warning: Obsolete setting in /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf:88: add auth_ prefix to all settings inside auth {} and remove the auth {} section completely

this is from dovecot.conf line 88 till the end

auth default {
mechanisms = plain login
socket listen {
client {
path = /var/spool/postfix/private/auth
mode = 0660
user = postfix
group = postfix
}
}
}

Regards
Lawrence

This gmane mail thread should help.

Although next time you really should tell us what versions of dovecot you are upgrading to and from. Normally that's important to know.

Changing the above to :

service auth {
unix_listener /var/spool/postfix/private/auth {
group = postfix
mode = 0660
user = postfix
}
}

Solves the problem
