dock stationcannot connect. either esata or usb


Hi to all,

Here is my problem. I bought this and i want to "install" in my system (slackware 13.37 x86).

I have the following motherboard : ASUS P5k

The configuration of BIOS for Jmicron chipset is IDE.

So, when i use the eSata interface then in /var/log/message i have nothing.

If i use USB interface i have this:

but i cannot mount at all.

do you have any idea why this happens????

Also i found millions problem , googling for esata and asus m/b.

I want to use the dock station with eSata , is this possible????
