dns on slackware

how to i configure my linux for a dns server?

i did everything but its not working. how i must to configure these files for SlACKWARE. please help me.

host: slck
domain name: kaan.org
ip add:10.0.0.10
netmask:255.0.0.0
gatewaey: n/a
dns ip : 10.0.0.10

/etc/named.conf

/var/named.local
/var/named.10 (my ip address is currently 10.0.0.10)
/var/named.kaan.org

/etc/host.conf
/etc/hosts
/etc/resolv.conf

please send me running files via my email or show me how to i do it? cekko@mail.com

Do you want a internal DNS or external DNS? I wrote a small article how to setup DNS for linux (internal with reverse lookup). You might wanna check it at: http://www.linuxaddicted.org/index.p...&pid=24&dbid=1
