Differences between 9.1 and 10

Hi, im thinkin about wipin my current slackware system which is on slackware 9.1, to slackware 10.1. What kind of advantages does 10.1 offer?

Old bugs out, new bugs in...

just newer versions of all the packages, XFree86 being replaced by Xorg, kernel updated to 2.4.29, etc...

oh. i guess slack 11 will have the 2.6 kernel

Well the major change is the fact that slack 10.1 uses gcc 3.4

10.1 uses GCC 3.3.4 by default. GCC 3.4 is still in /testing.
