dhcpcd acts weird

So my internet connection just went down, then it would come back up, and then it would go back down. This really sucks, cause I was D/L a torrent (if anyone knows how to get it back going let me know)...

I have TOP running in xterm and notice that dhcpcd is thrashing all around. I have no idea why it is doing this.

So I kill it and restart it and now it is running fine and all appears back to normal.

Has anyone else had a problem with this? I'm using the following:

-Slackware 10.2
-2.4.22 Kernel

thanks

I've not noticed anything like this. I am running 2.4.31-grsec however. What options are you using with it? I run it as dhcpcd -d -t 60 eth0.

Aside from that, what version of dhcpcd are you running?
DHCP Client Daemon v.1.3.22-pl4 is what I have running with no problems.

Code:
DHCP Client Daemon v.1.3.22-pl4
As for options, I checked the man page and don't see how I can find this out...

You can change the dhcpcd options in /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1
