there's recordmydesktop in /extra
http://recordmydesktop.sourceforge.net/rug/toc.php

but, to say the truth, I usually do it with ffmpeg (you can get it from alien bob's repository)
Code:
ffmpeg -f alsa -ac 2 -i hw:0,0 -f x11grab -r 30 -s $(xwininfo -root | awk '/geometry/ {print $2}') -i :0.0 -vcodec libx264 -threads 0 /tmp/output.mkv
