default permissions for home directory

hi all,

i've accidentally used explodepkg as root inside my user home directory

this hijacks the permissions of the entire directory, and i was wondering what it should be restored to

i noticed my home directory at work is rwxr-xr-x (755), is that what I usually want to set it to?

Thanks,
Greg

Depends on your personal preferences, and whether you're the sole user of the machine.
If it's multiuser, and you want them to see all your stuff, go for it. Personally
I choose to make home 0700

Cheers,
Tink
