Hey peeps I have a problem, well not really a problem it's just annoying I get this each and every time I start my Slackware distro somthing about Eth0 not have the right paramiters or something then it guesses them (gets it right all the time) and I've noticed something else as well when I look in /dev/ I dont see and Eth0 so how is this device being used?

If I could show you the Messages I would but my messages.txt in my /var/logs/ driectory does not log them for some reasom.

anyway can someone help me out I'm sorta new at Slackware
my distro is Slackware 9.1 (CD-ROM Distro)
and I also notice this when I try to recompile my kernel
Slackwhere 9.1 has taken out then initrd command out of the /sbin drectory is there any reason why I'm missing this command? I did a full install with everything selected.
