Customizing Slackware KDE Packages
 

Is it possible to only install portions of the Slackware 10 KDE packages? I don't see any reason why I need Noatun or Kaboodle installed with KDE Multimedia--in fact, I only want Juk. I have had this same problem with the other packages as well. Is there any way to possibly install parts of these huge packages to suit my needs without compiling directly from source?

The package in .tgz contains the list of all files which will be installed, so you may want to extract the package and edit the file list, maybe the install script too and remake the package.
